The Rink
SkateWorld in Laurel proudly operates as the only indoor skating center in Sussex County. Opened over 40 years ago, SkateWorld has provided multiple generations of families with exercise, memories, and the opportunity to learn to skate together. Young and old skaters can practice and enjoy time on the floor at family nights, adult-only skates, and tot-skates. Monthly themed days and open sessions are available most days of the week and during school holidays.
Young and Beginner Skaters
Skaters as young as 2 can enjoy a skating experience with clip-on skates which slip over their shoes. Skatemates can be rented to assist first-time skaters of all ages and are a great way to skate!
Cafe
Open during each session and private rink rental, the snack bar offers your favorites, including sodas, pizza, meals, candy, and more! Most meals are made to order, and whole pizzas available upon request!
Pro Shop
Wide selection of children through adult-sized skates for all skating enthusiasts. Accessories and bags are available as well. We can even help you build your own skates to order! Open during each session and private rink rental, the pro shop offers all of the latest skate styles including inlines, speeds, and high-top quads. Repairs and maintenance may be available on skates purchased from our Pro Shop.
